The Winning Dream Play Report 07

Dramatis Personae: The Winning Dream
Abadius 2-3, 4721
Koto Zekora, a large onidoshi woman that is the Chief Enforcer for the Ruby Phoenix Tournament, had arrived for the Barbacue and oversaw the match with the Light Keepers.
After a savage fight with the Light Keepers that ended in a win for the Winning Dream, the Light Keepers unceremoniously gathered themselves up and teleported out of the Temple of Irori, displaying an incredible amount of bad sportsmanship. After their departure, the evening continued as the teams continued to enjoy the barbacue, and Mallus spent some time flirting with Koto Zekora over food.
After everyone departed and the group found their beds, dawn came swiftly and the awoke ready for the second day of the Ruby Phoenix qualifier tournament on Bonmu.
Using the Transportation Towers, the Winning Dream went north and explored much of the Northern region of the Island where the encountered another watchtower, scaling to the top of it, they fought another spectral watchtower attendant, this one’s undeath had risen her as a vindictive Banshee. After a deadly fight, the group managed to destroy the undead creature and explore the watchtower and located a powerful magic Wind and Fire Wheel.
Continuing to explore the group came across Hana’s Hundred and engaged the regiment in combat, however they proved to have a terrible weakness, being woefully unprepared for the amount of powerful magics that could be brought to bear against the simple soldiers. This gained the Winning Dream all ten of their feathers.
They discovered the Shrine of Shihandivara, Taumatan god of games, competition and boasting. Mallus engaged Borak in a wrestling competition and managed to best the orc wrestler, while Lana led a rousing trivia contest. Having paid respect to the god, the group then took their boat across from the island back to the main island, where they explored a mountainous region and as they searched, discovered a strange Gargantuan reptilian beast lounging near a pond. As Mallus approached, the creature acted aggressively attempting to drive the Minotaur off… Mallus found himself up to the challenge and prepared to do battle.
